Legos on shore!

So, I was reading the news this morning and found out that on Tuesday morning, a life-sized Lego man washed up onto the shore of Siesta Key Beach in Florida.
The Lego man is reportedly 8 feet tall and 100 lbs.

On the Lego man's green torso it says "NO REAL THAN YOU ARE" as you can see here:

Thank ya, abcnews.go.com

According to Abcnews, on the Lego man's back was the number 8 and the words "Ego Leonard."
Before I get into who Ego Leonard is, I'm going to tell you that this is not the first time a life-sized Lego man has washed up on a shore.

In 2007, a Lego man bearing the same message on his torso and name on his back was seen bobbing out in the water at Zandvoort Beach in the Netherlands before he put on shore.

In 2008, another huge Lego man washed onto the shore of Brighton Beach in England, also bearing the same message on his torso and name on his back.

It is understood that the name Ego Leonard is the alter ego of a Dutch artist.
Ego Leonard's paintings all feature the Lego figures with nice little messages, including "NO REAL THAN YOU ARE."

A strange message written by Ego Leonard introducing himself can be read here along with a few of his paintings if you scroll down. Kinda creepy.

All in all, I think these large Lego men are actually pretty interesting and a GREAT way to get your name out there, for sure. Mr. Leo, you are a smart guy, but your Lego obsession is a tad bit weird.
