Gastritis

I have it, and it sucks :/
For the past four days, I've been eating nothing but Cheerios and Premium crackers and drinking nothing but water and ginger ale.

The doctor on campus told me that it usually takes 1-2 weeks to go away with medicine.
That really upset me because Christmas is next week. If I can't eat normal food on that day, I'll be so sad :(

So here I am, waiting it out with my meds and crackers...and finals. Le sigh.
At least i'll be done with this semester on Monday!

It's late and rainy and I wanted to write!

(via wordpress)

It's currently 2 a.m.
I'm reclined in bed as it is pouring outside.

The reason why this post is being done so late is because this week has been a wee bit busy.

Between studying and preparing for speeches, i've had no time to care about anything else than getting all of my crap done by Thursday night!

I just felt like writing.

The weather lately has been craaazy.
The week of Thanksgiving was beauuutiful! Now it's cold, windy, and rainy. Bleh. I've had no desire to wear anything but my glasses and sweat pants.

I guess the weather shares a mutual feeling of hate towards me because as i was walking home tonight, the wind flipped my umbrella inside out.
I tried to push my umbrella towards the wind so it could be flipped the right way, but the wind was TOO strong, making it impossible for me to even move my umbrella from its "frightened" position above my head.

Well, i have to be up at 9ish to prepare for my speech.
Good night, moon

The 1st of Decemberrr

Dec1.org

Happy December 1st! I'm so glad it's December because now i only have 2 weeks.
2 weeks
That's how much longer i have to be here.
In 2 weeks, the fall semester will over and i'll be going home for a month for winter break!
I literally cannot wait, and for these reasons!:
* I'll have my car again!
* No classes!
* No loudasfuckannoying neighbors!
* No(t as many) stink bugs!
* Home-cooked meals <3
* No Asian room mate. (I like her and all, but she doesn't clean her hair out of the shower drain, doesn't replace the toilet paper when she finished the roll, and always does this weird throat clearing noise that i wouldn't mind being without for a month!)
* My own bed<33
* I won't have to wear flip flops in my own shower!
* And lastly and most importantly, my family and my boyfriend and home town friends <3

Ahh, winter break is so close i have almost taste it :)
I just have to get through a speech and four final exams. Bring it on!

I come from a family of psychics

I learned something very interesting about my family this weekend.

Friday night my mom's niece and nephew came over.

Somewhere in the conversation we stumbled upon the topic of psychics.
Last winter, my mom went to a psychic, so she began telling her niece and nephew about her experience. The conversation was light until my mom's nephew said that when he goes to psychics, they ask him what he is doing there.

This is where i began getting confused. I asked him what he meant by that.

"You come from a family of psychics...you come from a family that has a gift."

My eyebrows rose.
He went on to tell me that his mother (my aunt) and his three sisters are all psychic in some way. He can sense energies; his sister, the one that was there, can connect with spirits; and my aunt can foresee future events.

I'm not sure how i've gone 19 years without knowing "the gift" runs in my blood, but i'm glad i know now!

Xmas Listin'

If you go into any store, you're sure to greeted by candy canes and holiday music at the door and find an aisle filled with Christmas decorations.

Christmas is overlapping Thanksgiving and making it known by being on the television, on the radio and in the stores, and it's only the beginning of November.
Poor Thanksgiving never stood a chance against the overachieving Christmas.

I'm not complaining though! I'm guilty of already having done some Christmas browsing and shopping. I've compiled a Christmas list for myself and others! I keep it in a Word document ;P

In other news, the band Fun. has a new song out that i cannot stop listening to! (A Fun. hoodie is on my Word Christmas list, tehe).
Enjoy this excellence!
